My Journey begins
I began my career in construction in 2006, following Hurricane Katrina's devastation of the Gulf Coast. Initially, I built stairs and ramps for FEMA trailers.
Once that project concluded, I delved into finish carpentry in high-end homes in the Money Hill subdivision of South Louisiana.
I further honed my skills apprenticing under a joiner who specialized in custom yacht finishes at a New Orleans shipyard.
This experience set my standards for perfection and craftsmanship.
Later, I transitioned to maintaining historic properties for investors in the New Orleans area.
This included crafting replica doors and shutters for the Hermann-Grima House in the French Quarter and making repairs to doors at St. Mary’s Assumption in the Lower Garden District.
In 2017, I joined forces with my dad, a general contractor in South Louisiana. After his home was severely flooded in 2016—submerged under 7 feet of water—we dedicated ourselves to rebuilding not just his home, but also the devastated subdivision, town, and neighboring communities.
We worked tirelessly to help our family and neighbors return to their homes.
In 2018, I moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where I continued my work with several general contractors, specializing in historic renovations, new construction, and remodeling.
In 2020, I expanded my expertise by working for Home Depot as a door installation specialist, completing hundreds of installs in both modern and historic homes.
