What I Do

Precision Woodwork That Elevates Your Space

I specialize in detailed finish carpentry — the kind of work that adds lasting value and a flawless finish to your home.

No shortcuts. No patch jobs.

Just clean, professional results that stand the test of time.

What I Specialize In

I focus on what I do best — trim, doors, and detailed woodwork that brings a space together. Whether you’re updating a single room or working through a full remodel, here’s the kind of work I take on:

Door Installation

  • Interior and exterior doors, including slab and prehung doors

  • Pocket doors and barn doors

Trim Work

  • Baseboard, casing, and crown molding (single or multi-piece)

  • Chair rail and window trim (picture framing and finish details)

Custom Mantels

  • Fireplace surrounds tailored to your space

Stairs & Railings

  • Stair skirtboards, stair treads, risers, newel posts, railings, and baluster installations

Built-ins

  • Shelving, cabinets, alcoves, and other custom features

Accent Walls

  • Shiplap, board and batten, wainscoting, and shadow box-style accents

Not sure if your project falls under finish carpentry? Just ask — I’m happy to help guide you in the right direction.

What I Don’t Do

To keep expectations clear, here’s a quick list of work I don’t take on:

  • Plumbing

  • Electrical

  • Roofing, siding, or structural framing

  • Painting – I don’t include painting in my scope.

  • Flooring installation

  • ❌ Drywall/Plaster work

I stick to what I do best — detailed finish carpentry. In my experience, hiring the right trade for each task leads to safer, cleaner, and longer-lasting results.

How It Works

From first contact to final cleanup, here’s what to expect when you work with me.

1. Reach Out

Use the contact form or email me directly with a brief description of your project.

2. Project Walkthrough

We’ll set up a time for me to visit the site, discuss details, and answer your questions.

3. Written Quote

You’ll receive a clear, detailed quote based on the scope of work — no fluff, no guesswork.

4. Scheduling & Work

If approved, we’ll schedule the work. I show up on time, keep things clean, and stay focused on precision from start to finish.

I also work with property owners and landlords on ongoing smaller-scale projects. Just ask if you'd like to discuss a longer-term setup.

Built to Last, From the Ground Up

Superior Quality and Craftsmanship

I aim to deliver high-end finish work that not only looks great but lasts. My focus is on craftsmanship that holds up over time—20 years or more—not quick fixes or shortcuts. Every detail reflects a commitment to long-term quality.

1 year Warranty on Labor

If any issues arise with my work within the first year of completion, I will correct them at no cost to you. This warranty does not cover defects in materials or issues related to improper or incomplete finishing after my work is completed.

High Quality Materials

  • For custom shelving or built-in features, I use Baltic birch as the standard material, or standard birch if Baltic isn’t available.

  • Trim and finish work materials are selected based on each project's needs, balancing the customer’s preferences, budget, and long-term quality.

  • Interior trim features primed, finger-jointed pine for paint-grade finishes, or a customer-selected option for stain-grade finishes.

  • Exterior trim is typically durable PVC or treated lumber.

Lead Certified Renovator

For homes built before 1978, I follow EPA regulations for lead paint. This includes testing any materials that may be disturbed. If lead is detected, I strictly adhere to EPA guidelines for containment, removal, and cleanup.

Serving St. Louis, the Right Way

I’m based in South City, and most of my work stays right here in St. Louis County and the surrounding metro.

Whether it’s a historic home in the city or a modern build in the suburbs, I bring the same attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship to every project. Clear communication, respectful service, and lasting results — that’s what you can expect when you work with me.
